Hello again. Welcome to the latest edition of the HU. As ever it's packed with interviews with local and not-so-local poets plus the usual eclectic range of features as well as a goodly amount of poetry and prose from our Open Submission Call. We've also reanimated The HU's infamous 'Business Section' with a contemporary sheen. We hope you enjoy it all. As you may be aware. We have created HUMAN (Honest Ulsterman Magazine Archive Network) an online archive of small Irish literary magazines. The print edition of the HU will be at its heart but it won't solely concentrate on this but will try and include as many magazines as is possible. The Archive will be live very soon and free to read. There will also be a small free publication with a series of essays on the histories and contexts of the Honest Ulsterrman. We want to involve as many of its readers as possible so we'll be putting a call-out for memories (good and bad) of the HU print edition soon. Watch this space as they say!
