Hallo again,
It's been a while! We have to apologise for the extreme tardiness that sees the arrival of this issue around 8 or so months late. Our old website finally gave up the ghost after spluttering and stuttering for a couple of years. We did like it and spent quite a bit of time trying to rescue it but it became evident that our only option was to build a new one. This wasn't as easy as we hoped. It's not that easy to find people to do it without costing the world and who could understand and overcome the technical difficulties of emigrating a decade's worth of issues, hence the delay. But we hope you like the new site! We're very pleased with it. It's accessible and easy to use but hopefully keeps the spirit of the old site.
Of course, lots of things happened whilst we were away, not all of them good. We sadly lost Gerald Dawe, who did a feature for us for this issue. A regular in the HU pages, from the 1970s onwards, he'll be sadly missed. Also in this issue is the usual eclectic mix of articles and interviews, with a few focusing on various aspects of the history of small magazines.
There will be a new submission call for our next issue due online in early September. Thanks again for your patience with our technological apocalypses and we hope you enjoy the new site and especially the long-lost last October issue.
