Welcome to another edition of the Honest Ulsterman. As usual it's mixed with more features, poetry and prose than you can shake a stick at. Though the moniker, Honest Ulsterman is from 'another time' as they say and is unarguably anachronistic, it does suggest a very human element is contained within its pages. Something very real, (if reality is something that exists these days, without impinging of Abridged territory). There's something very powerful about the voice behind the poetic voice so to speak and it gives an insight to the raw creative process and the raw humanity contained within it. Sadly we've lost another very powerful Irish poetic voice as this issue was being compiled in Fred Johnston. A presence in the Honest Ulsterman (including this issue) for decades and in many magazines in the HUMAN Archive. We send our condolences to his friends and family. As ever thanks to all the contributors to this issue and we hope you enjoy it.
